At St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, student engagement and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Guided by our Gospel values we foster a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student is known, valued and empowered to thrive.
Our Student Behaviour Support Plan reflects a proactive and positive approach to wellbeing. Through the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) framework, we explicitly teach and reinforce the skills students need to engage successfully in both learning and relationships. This includes building social and emotional capabilities alongside academic development, ensuring students grow as confident, respectful and resilient learners.
A strong focus is placed on creating a sense of belonging for every child. Our whole-school values – Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Keeping Safe – provide a shared language that supports positive interactions and consistent expectations across all settings.
