We are looking forward to celebrating St Peter's Day with our school
community this coming Friday 24 June. We are proud to carry the name of
the first Pope of the Catholic Christian Church - St Peter - and we are a
living testament to his courage, wisdom and unyielding faith. We can relate
to Peter, the hardworking fisherman, as he reveals his humanity through
the interactions he has with Jesus. The dome of St Peter's Basillica in the
Vatican is inscribed with the quote from Matthew's Gospel (16:18-19) "And
I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the
gates of hell shall not prevail against it." St Peter is the ROCK on which our
church is built and we continue to be a ROCK in the Caboolture
community.
On Friday we celebrate everything about our school and the contribution
that staff, students and parents have made to the wider Caboolture
Community over its 72 years of existence. We are a proud Catholic
community that is going from strength to strength and on Friday we
celebrate!
The St Peter's Day schedule can be found in our latest newsletter.
