District and Regional Sport

Congratulations to Rubi, Chase, Seamus and Xander who represented the Caboolture District at the Regional Track and Field Carnival. Our students stepped up to the occasion and put in their best performances against talented athletes from across the Region - we are so proud of you! Rubi and Chase both placed 2nd in the Tetrathon and will attend the State Track and Field Carnival next month.

In Weeks 5 and 6 of this term, St Peter's fielded 8 teams in the Caboolture District touch, rugby and cricket gala days.

Three of our teams achieved outstanding results across the gala days. Congratulations to our District Champions (Pennants and ribbons to arrive in Term 4):

  • Senior Girls Touch Blue
  • 10 years Rugby
  • 12 years Rugby

Year 4 Gala Day

All Year 4 students and teachers headed to Burpengary on Monday to play in a gala day alongside St Eugene College, St Benedict's and Christ the King. This gala day provided students with the opportunity to represent St Peter's in a non competitive and modified gala day environment. Our students grabbed the opportunity with both hands and improved each time they played, growing in confidence and communicating effectively with team mates and opposition players. Thank you to the NRL, Burpengary Jets JRL and St Eugene College for hosting the event.

Junior Athletics Carnival

Good luck to our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 athletes as they hit the track and take on running, jumping and throwing fundamental activities at Friday's Junior Athletics Carnival. The timetable and map for the event are available on the Parent Portal.

This week, we welcome parents and guardians to come along and watch Prep and Year 1 classes in action during their gymnastics lesson. Thank you to Miss Ash who has coached our classes throughout the program.

Kilometre Club.........

will return in Term 4 on Tuesday mornings from Week 2 (Tuesday 11 October) between 7:45-8:15am. No registration or paperwork is required, you can simply come along. A spare pair of socks or shoes is sometimes helpful due to the wet grass. It has been a long break during the building project, I cannot wait to see you all again for some fun activities and time on the track.
