End of Year Acknowledgements, Celebrations and Farewells

As we prepare to bid farewell to the 2018 school year, it is fitting to reflect on the efforts, events and achievements of this amazing community. This has again been a very busy year with much to be proud of and thankful for. Some major physical facility changes have taken place this year as we took possession of our new Year 1 classroom block. We also began the refurbishment of existing classroom spaces to move towards more flexible, contemporary learning spaces.

I encourage you to take some time to look through our 2018 St Peter's School Magazine and reflect upon the events of this year and appreciate the efforts of so many to guide this community to the lofty heights for which we strive. Thanks to those who hold positions of responsibility on our P&F and School Pastoral Board. Our P&F Executive have worked tirelessly to help provide the most positive experience possible for our students, your children. Thanks also to the School Pastoral Board. The wisdom that this wonderful group willingly shares, assists school leadership with decision making and policy direction. A unique feature of our community is our highly skilled and dedicated staff. I am privileged to work with this incredible team of passionate educators who put the best interests of each student in our care at the heart of every decision and action. Of course, the most important group to acknowledge are our wonderful students. Their enthusiasm and joy in the everyday is contagious, and they make St Peter’s the special place it is. They strive to meet the high expectations put in front of them and they do so with a willing spirit.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on the journey this year. Merry Christmas everyone! I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year for another year of ‘Living Learning in our community of Faith and Love’.
