2018 Annual Plan and Goals

‚ÄčEvery year we use the plethora of student achievement data and survey/feedback data available to plan for improved student outcomes and opportunities. As detailed in our Vision for Learning and Teaching 2017-2020:

We will maximise success through a combination of a small number of ambitious goals being relentlessly pursued, being vigilant about reducing distractors, helping with professional capacity building, using student and other data transparently for developmental purposes, building in strategies for implementers to learn from each other on an ongoing basis, and marking progress with lots of feedback and supportive intervention (Fullan & Quinn, 2016).

Our Goals and Associated Strategies for 2018 Include:

  • Teachers reflect familiarity with the Catholic Perspective and have an awareness of Catholic Moral Theology in relation to Relationships and Sexuality Education in the HPE Curriculum.
    • Familiarise the community with the Catholic Perspective of the Relationship & Sexuality Education Curriculum which is embedded throughout the HPE Curriculum, prior to its implementation within the school.
    • Provide opportunities for teachers to develop an awareness of Catholic Moral Theology.
